Global Hunger Response

Hunger levels today are higher than ever before, with almost 21 million children facing starvation. Our partnership with the World Food Programme means World Vision is uniquely positioned to respond to the global hunger crisis – but we need your help.

Your company’s life-saving support will help provide emergency food assistance to families facing starvation and help to alleviate child hunger in some of the world’s poorest communities. Together we can create a world where every child has enough nourishing food to survive and thrive

100 Girls

We believe that girls can change the world and that every girl has the right to live free from fear. Yet millions of girls worldwide are trapped in a cycle of violence, gender inequality, and discrimination.

That’s why our recent 100 Girls campaign focused on empowering girls living in the world’s most dangerous places through the power of child sponsorship. By sponsoring a girl, you and your colleagues can help protect, educate, and empower vulnerable girls to reach their full potential

Corporate philanthropy with a global social impact

We are a truly international organisation, with offices and programmes across almost 100countries. Our programmes address the most pressing issues globally, from climate action to female empowerment, ending world hunger, and responding to humanitarian emergencies. Together, we can make a lasting difference in the lives of the world's most vulnerable children.

Bank of Ireland - Staff Charitable Fund

Since 2016, the Bank of Ireland Staff Charitable Fund (BOISCF) has supported communities in Uganda, Tanzania and Mauritania through World Vision’s Area Programmes (APs). This successful partnership has brought many benefits to children and families living in these communities.

“To actually see the impact that the infrastructure we helped provide has made, and to hear first-hand from the school pupils, especially the girls, how our projects have bettered their school experience, was amazing and so humbling. BOISCF is very pleased to have World Vision as a strategic partner for our funding. Their approach to developing local Area Programmes, and how the projects are carried out, is very impressive.”

Greenville Deli

For International Women’s Day 2023, Greenville Deli kindly donated a percentage of their coffee proceeds to World Vision Ireland, to support projects which help protect and empower vulnerable women and girls around the world. Through our partnerships, World Vision Ireland helps local businesses like Greenville Deli to make a global social impact.

“We are supporting World Vision Ireland and doing our bit for vulnerable children living in some of the world’s most challenging situations. As a business focussed on providing quality food and beverages in a vibrant community, we, and our customers, have been proud to give what we can, to where it’s really needed. By donating to World Vision Ireland’s work building resilience and sustainability, we are all helping children, their families and communities, to survive and thrive into the future.”
